BELIEVE
It begins with Jesus.
Before there is a journey to walk, there is a Savior to follow.
We were made for God.
Every human heart was made to know its Creator, yet sin has separated us from Him.
We try to fill that distance with success, relationships, religion, pleasure, achievement, and control.
But none of these can bring us home to God.
We don’t need a better version of ourselves. We need a Savior.
God came looking for us.
The good news of Christianity isn’t that we found our way to God.
God came to us.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, entered our broken world. He lived the life we could never live, loved without compromise, and willingly went to the cross for sinners.
He took our sin upon Himself.
He died in our place.
And on the third day, He rose again.
Jesus is alive.
Because He lives, forgiveness is possible. Our guilt can be removed. Our relationship with God can be restored. And those who trust in Him receive new life.
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”Romans 5:8
Who is Jesus?
Christianity begins not with a philosophy, a system, or a set of rules.
It begins with a Person.
His name is Jesus.
“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”John 14:6
Jesus is calling you.
Jesus doesn’t simply invite us to believe ideas about Him.
He invites us to follow Him.
To trust Him.
To surrender to Him.
To receive His grace.
To leave our old way behind.
And to begin a new life with Him.
You don’t have to have everything figured out.
Faith begins with a step toward Jesus.
What does it mean to believe?
Trust
Trust in who Jesus is and what He has done.
Surrender
Turn from our old way and surrender our lives to Christ.
Follow
Begin a life of following Jesus.
Believing isn’t simply agreeing that Jesus exists.
It is entrusting your life to Him.
What will you do with Jesus?
The Gospel calls for a response.
You can keep searching.
You can walk away.
Or you can say yes to Jesus.
Trust Him. Receive His grace. Follow Him.
Every journey begins with a step.
